No, GFS needs *shared storage* to work. I don't know the details but I know FC and SCSI work, and I'm pretty sure iSCSI does too. It wouldn't take advantage of your current setup I don't think. drbd (as someone else mentioned) might be an option there but I don't know.


DRBD looks nice but using it would mean add an extra network interface
and  maybe an other switch (i don't think that vlan would work).

i'm going to take a closer look at gfs.
