Re: sa-update in spamassassin 3.1.0
Thanks, Phil. I appreciate your linking to the specific bug number.
Searching Bugzilla is something that I'm still a novice at doing.
It stinks that the version in volatile-sloppy (3.1.0) doesn't support
sa-update, but it makes sense, given that the version in testing is
3.1.1. Looks like we have some more research to do if we want to use
sa-update.

We've recently upgraded to SpamAssassin 3.1.0 from the
volatile-sloppy repository. When we try to run sa-update to get the
newest rulesets, our rulesets stay the same! Nothing is downloaded
to /etc/spamassassin/ as would be expected from the sa-update manpage.
sa-update wasn't supported until version 3.1.1. See
http://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=4788#c10.
The version in 3.1.1 downloads the updates to /var/lib/spamassassin.
See http://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/RuleUpdates for details.
