well, although theory says that it is *not* possible, we managed to get pretty much data off a scrambled ext3 fs using some proprietary win32 tool. "pretty much" means ~80GB out of an unmountable 100GB ext3 fs.
please use google to find it ('cause naming the tool would look like an advertisment....)
