hpacucli and sarge

Hello,
I'm triyng to have hpacucli working on my sarge.

I found a single reference googling (i.e. 
http://debian.catsanddogs.com/forum/index.php/topic,10.msg24.html) 
reporting a successful installation, simply using alien to convert HP's rpm.


This does not work for me (or at least doesn't so simply), since once 
installed the utility fails to execute, due to the lack of 
libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3

I symlinked it to libstdc++.so.6, but it fails anyway:

# hpacucli
/opt/compaq/hpacucli/bld/.hpacucli: relocation error: 
/opt/compaq/hpacucli/bld/libcpqimgr.so: undefined symbol: __vt_3ios


Did anybody manage to have the utility working correctly?
