One other thing to look at: how friendly is the registrar to spammers?
Some registrars (tucows, joker, srs, neulevel and quite a few others)
just don't care about spam and don't yank a domain whatever the
evidence. Others are quite quick to yank a domain when the contact
information is invalid. GoDaddy has quite a good track record there.
Just take your latest batch of spam and look where the domains are
registered. If you've got time, folks on news.admin.net-abuse.email may
be inclined to discuss registrars (just be sure to ignore the trolls
that are certain to transform every thread into a stupid name-calling
dick war.)
