securing proftpd
Is anyone using proftpd's RejectValidShell directive
in a box running stable? That is, reject users with
valid shells from logging to ftp as soon as they enter
their usernames (and not give them the chance to enter
their password at all).
Support for that is supposed to be in unstable already
(http://bugs.debian.org/145669) but I don't want to
run unstable on a production box. So any pointers on
how you managed to get it to work?
Many thanks!
Shannon
