woody + proftpd + ldap = segfault

Hi all,

I have tried to install proftpd with ldap support on woody. Everything
seems configured properly, but everytime proftpd launches an ldap
lookup, it dies there.

The ldap server logs the request and returns data, then proftpd dies :

proftpd[22495]: swoog (192.168.50.11[192.168.50.11]) - FTP session
opened.  

slapd[14757]: daemon: conn=434 fd=23 connection from
IP=127.0.0.1:35156 (IP=0.0.0.0:34049) accepted. 

slapd[14910]: conn=434 op=0 BIND dn="O=ISPMAN" method=128  

slapd[14910]: conn=434 op=0 RESULT tag=97 err=0 text= 

proftpd[22495]: swoog (192.168.50.11[192.168.50.11]) - ProFTPD
terminating (signal 11)  

Is this known behaviour? Is my configuration the root of the problem?
Has someone actually used proftpd-ldap successfully on woody? If
nothing can be done to make it work, I'll file a bug against
proftpd-ldap in woody.
