This appears to be a Netscape issue, since it works in Outlook Express.Netscape simply declares it an invalid certificate and refuses to go any further, but OE reports "The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that does not match it's Internet address. Do you wish to continue?" but allows you to download the messages anyway. The reverse hostname from IP lookup for the test server I was working was has not yet been corrected to match the forward IP from hostname lookup. The change has not had time to propogate through DNS as yet.
