httperf -- webserver Benchmarking tool                                        

http_load -- another webserver Benchmarking tool

You need to report this. Research at apache to see if this is fixed in a
newer version. Research at Debian bugs to see if this has been reported.
I believe this is an easy fix.

What version of ApacheBench (ab -V)?
(And if from a package, what version of apache-common deb?)
