Cyrus problem

Hi all,

I am running potato, postfix is installed from deb. So far so good.

I installed and configured Cyrus exactly like described on the
Cyrus-IMAP HOWTO available at http://linuxdocs.org. I use inetd with the
following 2 lines inside /etc/inetd.conf (they are the only lines in the
file):

imap stream tcp nowait cyrus /usr/cyrus/bin/imapd imapd
pop3 stream tcp nowait cyrus /usr/cyrus/bin/pop3d pop3d

when I try telneting the box on port 143 or 110, I get the following
via syslog :
May 11 12:10:31 suck ippl: imap connection attempt from suck [127.0.0.1]
May 11 12:10:35 suck service-(null)[18117]: executed
May 11 12:10:35 suck service-(null)[18117]: unable to set close on exec:
Bad file descriptor
May 11 12:10:35 suck ^B

From the command line, this is what I get:

root@suck:/etc/postfix# su cyrus
bash-2.03$ imtest -m login -p imap localhost
C: C01 CAPABILITY
failure: prot layer failure

I have been looking around for a solution, but I haven't found
anything. Please help :)

	Haim.
