compression problems in linux-win pppd link
Hello,
last days I'm having some strange problems with pppd, or maybe
even not with pppd but more probably with windows.
Peer is always disabling compression:
CCP terminated by peer
Compression disabled by peer.
[CCP ConfReq id=0x1 <deflate 15> <deflate(old#) 15> <bsd v1 15>]
[CCP ConfRej id=0x1 <deflate 15> <deflate(old#) 15> <bsd v1 15>]
[CCP ConfReq id=0x1 < 12 06 00 00 00 01> < 11 05 00 01 04>]
[CCP ConfRej id=0x1 < 12 06 00 00 00 01> < 11 05 00 01 04>]
so, here goes my questions:
1. How to enable compression on this connection (I've set deflate and bsdcomp in config file)
2. What are this strange numbers < 12 06 00 00 00 01> - another M$compression
