What non-intel hardware would anyone recommend for the following applications. the major decision factor is stability the box never dies. firewall/transproxy box that sits in front of several front end boxes which each mount data directories and serve the pages via httpd. This box will act as logger, and monitor for a front end and stop sending requests to it if its down. I'm think Sparc 20 maybe with 2 or 3 network dcards.
