Ok,I've watched the discussion and I'm wondering - WHY the heck do you need to use a PC for a switch?I can name a few reasons why not do that: 1) Every switch will have less downtime than the linux machine(PC takes about a minute to boot,the sitch starts in about 2-3 seconds) 2) The switchs are MADE to do this job,linux isn't.... 3) There isn't that big difference in the prices of both
