I have a similar need: the ISP provides DHCPv6 prefixes using prefix
delegation, e.g., a /60. This has to be obtained on a PPP interface, but then
I need to assign a /64 based on the prefix to another interface, e.g., eth0.

I wasn't able to make ISC DHCP assign the prefix to a second interface. Wide
DHCPv6 can be used in this application, however.

There is also dibbler-client, the capabilities of which I have not
had time to investigate in detail.

A further consideration is whether Wide DHCpv6 is maintained upstream - it
appears not to be.
