Re: 48 bits long prefix
Hi Matthias,
Having a prefix length shorter than /64, like /48, is useful in the case
you want to have more different networks.
For example if you have the prefix 2001:DB8:ABC/48, you can use the 16
extra bits to identify your other networks:
2001:DB8:ABC:0001/64 for your public servers network
2001:DB8:ABC:0002/64 for your employees network
2001:DB8:ABC:0003/64 for your mobile users networks, etc
