[Fwd: Bug#229145: exim: 'exim -q' requests IPv6 causing error messages in syslog when running 2.6.1]

Anyone have any ideas what could be done about this?

--- Begin Message ---
Package: exim
Version: 3.36-9.1
Severity: minor

Running Linux 2.6.1 without IPv6 renders the following error
messages in the syslog:

Jan 23 08:38:01 bostrom kernel: request_module: failed /sbin/modprobe -- net-pf-10. error = 256
Jan 23 08:44:18 bostrom kernel: request_module: failed /sbin/modprobe -- net-pf-10. error = 256
Jan 23 08:53:01 bostrom kernel: request_module: failed /sbin/modprobe -- net-pf-10. error = 256
Jan 23 09:08:01 bostrom kernel: request_module: failed /sbin/modprobe -- net-pf-10. error = 256
Jan 23 09:23:01 bostrom kernel: request_module: failed /sbin/modprobe -- net-pf-10. error = 256
...

This is caused by exim -q executed by cron every 15 minutes.

2.4.24 and earlier don't print any error messages to syslog.
