Hmm, new year's eve blurred your mind? ;) I have installed the fabbione
version:

apeeters@bari:~$ which mtr
/usr/bin/mtr
apeeters@bari:~$ dpkg -S /usr/bin/mtr
mtr: /usr/bin/mtr
apeeters@bari:~$ dpkg -l |grep mtr
ii  mtr            0.54-1.0.ipv6. Full screen ncurses and X11 traceroute
tool
