Well, the unintelligent behaviour of link local on a single interface system
could be fixed. But anyway, I do not have a router to assign me global
addresses set up, and it works anyway.

this is the global address of my wifes PC:

64 bytes from 3ffe:400:4f0:ffff::4: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.204 ms

this is the link local:

64 bytes from fe80::2e0:4cff:fe39:12b5: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.388 ms

But you are right, it is strange that setting the interface is required,
even if the routing table has only one entry for the link local net.

Greetings
Bernd
