hi all,
the new packages have been uploaded a few minutes ago
and mirrors will sync quite soon.
Here is a summary of changes that have been done:
* Merged with -4 from Branden
* major patches cleanup
* added usagi support and implemented a protocol check
at server startup time (you can see the output in X log file)
to provide the best default options when -nolisten is NOT
specified.
* xhost now handles automatically ipv4 in ipv6 mapped addresses
(closes bug id #7)
* added -n option to xhost to get a numeric print out
* better xhost output (adds [] to ipv6 numeric addresses and
avoid to print out dns timeout leaving the output easily
parsable by other scripts)
* modified the default xserverrc to -nolisten tcp,tcp6
NOTE: someone was asking on this ml about xauth IPv6 functionalities.
I made some pre tests on it and it looks like it does not support
IPv6 yet. Can someone kindly test it again and report to me?
it looks not too difficult to patch but i need some feedbacks atleast.
If i will not hear anything from anyone with a couple of weeks I will
slowly start to submit the patches to the X-Strike Force.
