Yes, Alexey hasn't played with IOS, just the Linux kernel.

radvd, by definition, runs on a router.  The clients (or whatever
they're called) are not routers.  So it doesn't help here.
The main problem is Alexey says routers should have "real routes" and
he doesn't consider ::/0 to be "real".
