Also I tried removeing the default argument to see if it atleast would
stop giveing that error. It did not.
crux:~# route -A inet6 add gw fe80::206.123.31.102 dev sit1
gw: Resolver Error 0 (no error)
For some reason removeing the gateway option did though.
crux:~# route -A inet6 add fe80::206.123.31.102 dev sit1
