IPv6 problems
Hi all
I'm having problems with IPv6 which I *think* are due to things not
being routed outside of my control. I may be able to get them
(protocol 43 only needed?) routed, but before I start I want to make
sure the problem isn't me being stupid.
I can ping master
64 bytes from 216.234.231.5: icmp_seq=1 ttl=237 time=186.6 ms
but not with ipv6.
PING master.ipv6.debian.org(3ffe:a00:e:2:240:33ff:fea6:8292) from
+2002:a301:b7a3::1 : 56 data bytes
but then no responses.
"tcpdump -p -n -i eth0 not ether multicast" gives:
15:34:17.044021 163.1.183.163 > 216.234.231.5: v6-in-v4
2002:a301:b7a3::1 > 3ffe:a00:e:2:240:33ff:fea6:8292 icmpv6: echo request (DF)
[similar pairs of lines repeated, no replies]

Thanks in advance
