Bug#1036817: missing simplified version for 'sao' (187.8)

Hi Toni,

I leave it to others to comment on the traditional/simplified aspect, but as regards the rendering I have a theory.

I am trying to write the character 'sao' (see attached image), but
only get the traditional version of it, which is then mistaken as a

Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en

Assuming that you use Noto fonts: A unicode character which is present both in Traditional Chinese and Japanese is rendered by Noto Sans CJK JP by default. To enforce the use of Noto Sans CJK SC you need to change LC_CTYPE to "zh_CN.UTF-8".
