Before 'complaining' here I altered debian/changelog locally, tried "git push", but was denied access (don't remember the exact wording). So I can confirm that it does not work for me.
But I did have write access at a time, because this MR: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/ibus/-/merge_requests/9 I merged myself.I don't see at <https://salsa.debian.org/debian/ibus/-/project_members> anything about the input-method-team. Possibly the fact that my role in the team is "developer" has something to do with it.
