Bug#965264: fcitx: cannot switch to Chinese pinyin input by pressing Ctrl+space

Dear Maintainer,
I cannot switch to Chinese pinyin input by pressing Ctrl+space. It does not
work in terminal nor in web browser. When I type fcitx in terminal got
