Package: ibus-libpinyin
Version: 1.7.3-3
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

I meet a bug when I input English characters in the English mode with ibus-libpinyin in Lyx.
In Lyx, one uses Alt-m d to in put a new display equation.  I switch the input method to ibus-libpinyin
and set the mode to the English one with the "shift" key and the icon in the panel is "英".
In this mode, one inputs English characters. But in this mode the shortcut Alt-m d is invalid. After one pressing Alt-m Lyx
shows the hints, which is the same with the common English mode. But then I press "d", Lyx shows "unknown function" rather than inputs a new equation. I have tried another input methods such as "Bopomofo" and the bug does not exist.
Further, I think this bug is independent with a specific desktop environment, because the bug exist not only under GNOME but also under LXQT.

Best Regards

Lu Wang
