Bug#905001: ibus-wayland always fails on weston with "No input_method global"
Package: ibus-wayland
Version: 1.5.18-1
Severity: grave
Tags: upstream
Justification: renders package unusable
Control: forwarded -1 https://github.com/ibus/ibus/issues/2030
Dear Maintainer,
ibus-wayland always 100% fails with the error message
"No input_method global" when used with the weston Debian package.
As such, the ibus-wayland Debian package
is COMPLETELY USELESS. I suggest removal of ibus-wayland package,
unless the upstream fixes this.
This is a bug in upstream. I already reported this to
https://github.com/ibus/ibus/issues/2030
See the upstream bug report for the root cause of this.
