I prefer "Let IBus be IBus".
Debian is not a one-stop shop like some other distros.
I guess we don't have to hide something from the users.

No, that issue is not new; bothered some users in Fedora 17 already.
I've contacted origin developer of IBus in private mail but no related
action take place.
