Debian ia64 on hp zx6000 xorg hang on start randomly

Hi everyone
I have HP ZX6000 Workstation. I have installed Debian on it and i have
problem with staring X windows sytem.
When i do 'startx' i get blank screen for couple seconds than my monitor
gets off and few seconds later i see that i get error on disgnostic leds on
the workstation box - thats meen reboot is the only solution system hangs.
It apears randomly - one time i start my xwindows normaly, one time i don`t.
I tried gnome and xfce - didn`t made difference.
I also tried debian 5 and debian 6 versions. Both behave the same way.

I think that`s xorg.config related or graphic driver card related. Anyone
debuged it? Anyone with the same problem?

I`ve got ATI FIRE GL X1 256MB graphic.

I will be happy to hear about all hints.

Greetings
Chesti
