Hi,

  I would like to know what is the best way to work around the
following issue. I cannot get paraview to compile on ia64, because of
bug #576198, see full log:

  It seems it happens also with -O2. Should I just rebuild on ia64
without optimization or are there plans to update the default gcc ?
