Unable to start Eclipse

Hi,

While trying to startup Eclipse, I'm getting the following error popup dialog and the IDE is never displayed:

JVM terminated. Exit code=127
/usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj/bin/java
-Djava.library.path=/usr/lib/jni
-Dgnu.gcj.precompiled.db.path=/var/lib/gcj-4.2/classmap.db
-Dgnu.gcj.runtime.VMClassLoader.library_control=never
-Dosgi.locking=none
-jar /usr/lib/eclipse/startup.jar
-os linux
-ws gtk
-arch ia64
-launcher /usr/lib/eclipse/eclipse
-name Eclipse
-showsplash 600
-exitdata b000a
-install /usr/lib/eclipse
-vm /usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj/bin/java
-vmargs
-Djava.library.path=/usr/lib/jni
-Dgnu.gcj.precompiled.db.path=/var/lib/gcj-4.2/classmap.db
-Dgnu.gcj.runtime.VMClassLoader.library_control=never
-Dosgi.locking=none
-jar /usr/lib/eclipse/startup.jar

I'm getting this with daily updated Debian "Squeeze" Testing.
The value following -exitdata changes from startup to startup.
I've tried to use the Eclipse non-gcj packages without a success.
I've also tried to run Eclipse with openjdk. Same problem.

Is there anybody out there successfully running Eclipse on his/her Itanium workstation?

Regards,

     Émeric
