installing etch on a poweredge 3250

Hi,

I try to install Debian GNU/Linux testing "Etch" - Official Snapshot ia64
Binary-1 on a Dell Poweredge 3250 (2 Itanium 2, 4 gig) and I got then message
during installation (after the network configuration and passwd setup). I
got:

Oct 26 18:35:56 apt-install: Reading package lists...
Oct 26 18:35:56 apt-install: Building dependency tree...
Oct 26 18:35:56 apt-install: Package initrd-tools is not available, but is
referred to by another package.
Oct 26 18:35:56 apt-install: This may mean that the package is missing, has
been obsoleted, or
Oct 26 18:35:56 apt-install: is only available from another source
Oct 26 18:35:56 apt-install: E: Package initrd-tools has no installation
candidate
Oct 26 18:35:56 base-installer: error: exiting on error
base-installer/kernel/failed-package-install

Anybody can give me a hint HowTo bypass this issue?

I have Red Hat Linux Advanced Server release 2.1AS (Derry) on this server if
this can help.

Thanks, Claude

P.S. I put the syslog of installation if you want more detail
