scm on ia64
I would like to debug the failure of scm to build on s390, or receive
patches from someone else who has done so.

This is Debian bug #335980.
I attempted to build the package on merulo, but I can't because the
build dependencies are not satisfied. Can they be installed please?
It needs: slib (>> 3a1), libncurses5-dev, libreadline4-dev, texi2html,
texinfo, xlibs-dev
