Ok, I see what's going on. Version 3.0.2 is the latest for all other
architectures and gcc-3.0-base is not architecture dependant so
dselect/apt-get is installing the later version of it.
I downloaded and installed gcc-3.0-base_3.0.1-* from the package pools,
put it on hold, and everything works fine now.
