Re: kernel options



Caren,

   You need the full set of patches in the debian kernel source to
make it work on HP prototype systems.  You should 'apt-get install
kernel-source-2.4.9-ia64' and run 'debian/rules unpack'.  This
should get you and identical source tree and config to that used
for building the debian kernel package (look for the build-mckinley-smp
directory).
