I did not get a reply either regarding the German translation.
The Brazilian Portuguese, French and German teams have decided to
submit the update anyhow.
I suggest to pull the po file from
https://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po-debconf/es
When you have provided the update, please ping me. In case the
maintainer continues to be silent, I could check if a L10n NMU could
be done (which I did for other packages as well already).
