I have a few comments about the changes:

Description: gpsd control socket path
Please enter the gpsd control socket location. Usually you want to keep the
 default setting.

The synopsis should end with a colon. It should also have a leading
capital to avoid looking ugly. On the other hand, you can't capitalize
the daemon name, so it needs a rewrite:

Description: Path for gpsd control socket:

Specifying that one should leave the default setting is IMHO
useless. I guess that such setting is a low priority debconf template
(as your wording suggests, there are few chances that people want to
change this.....so those who will probably know what they're doing and
others will hit "Enter" anyway..:-))

So, we would end up with:

Description: Path for gpsd control socket:
Please enter the gpsd control socket location.

Or even:

Description: Path for gpsd control socket:

Attachment: signature.asc
Description: Digital signature
