Dear maintainer of ppp and Debian translators,
Some days ago, I sent a notice to the maintainer of the ppp Debian
package, mentioning the status of at least one old po-debconf translation update in the BTS.
Even though I got no new from the package maintainer, I know he
doesn't necessarily welcome NMUs that much and I prefer avoiding any
harm. This is why I hereby announce "an upcoming upload" but, indeed,
I'd very much like to hear from you, Marco....
The full planned schedule is available at the end of this mail.
The package is currently translated to:
be ca cs da de es eu fi fr gl it ja nb nl pt pt_BR ro ru sv ta tr vi zh_TW
Among these, the following translations are incomplete: be ca da it ja pt_BR sv ta tr
If you did any of the, currently incomplete, translations you will get
ANOTHER mail with the translation to update.
Other translators also have the opportunity to create new translations
for this package. Once completed, please send them as a bug report
against the ppp package so I can incorporate them in the build.
The deadline for receiving updates and new translations is Wednesday, November 26, 2008. If you
are not in time you can always send your translation to the BTS.

Schedule:
Saturday, November 15, 2008 : send the first intent to NMU notice to
the package maintainer.
Thursday, November 20, 2008 : send this notice
Wednesday, November 26, 2008 : (midnight) deadline for receiving translation updates
Thursday, November 27, 2008 : Send a summary to the maintainer. Maintainer uploads
when possible.
