William and I discussed this on IRC and we concluded that I'll end up the translation update round, send him a patch with l10n fixes and a few other minor things I found. Then he'll prepare an upload for lilo, which I will check and sponsor. This is fairly urgent as lilo was inadvertently removed from testing because of an RC bug related to 2.6.25 kernel images. This causes a major breakage in Debian Installer beta2. See debian-devel mailing list for details....
