We (you :-) should consider such an iterative method to be the default.
Whenever a new error is found it should be fixed and translators should
update their files. If they are not able to report all errors initially,
it's their own problem to recieve multiple requests ...
(I could not hesitate to send this, as I found also multiple problems in
the xorg Debconf messages after proofread ...)
