I am among these people who think that using "America" and "American" for United States of America is blantatly arrogant....so I'll definitely fix this...:). I'm sure that, for AT keymaps, the only one proposed is "de-latin1-nodeadkeys" and thus there is no point in adding this extra confusing mention (most users don't know what a "dead key" is.) No, no. Translate this *very* simply: "Polish", "US English", "German", etc.... If in doubt....look at the French translation. Even if you can't understand it completely, you'll get the point...:) The main point is: the whole list is *never* shown entirely to users. "sun-*" keymaps are proposed to Sparc users, USB keymaps are proposed to PowerPC and some other users (or those who explicitely choose I agree that the current system for console-data translation is far from being perfect. For instance, if I fix the English "translation", nothing will be enforced on all other translations unfortunately...
