Yep, it's much better. I was forced to think a little bit about
your "program name" explanation. Why do you not just add
"such as schroot-listmounts, schroot-releaselock" to the comments?
(Are there other possibilities?)
So the translator does not need to check all possible combinations related
to the gender or whatever whether it matchs or not.

What's the chroot name? The path of the chroot'ed directory or a name supplied
by the user for this chroot?

Maybe you can explain the terminology a little bit at the beginning of
po/schroot.po?

I will provide a German translation soon. I hope nobody started yet.

PS: You included the generated API documentation, which makes this archives
large. I assume you normally do not release it.
