Re: Please fix spellchecking/variables errors in Debian Installer translations
2006/11/18, Christian Perrier <bubulle@debian.org>:
Translators, do you think that you're done? I don't think so:
http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/spellcheck/level5/index.html
About level5.
Many translations have an 1 Suspect variable:
#: src/query.c:504 dpkg-deb/main.c:97
#, c-format
msgid "Format syntax:\n A format is a string that will be output for
each package. The format\n can include the standard escape sequences
\\n (newline), \\r (carriage\n return) or \\\\ (plain backslash).
Package information can be included\n by inserting variable
references to package fields using the ${var[;width]}\n syntax.
Fields will be right-aligned unless the width is negative in which\n
case left alignment will be used.\n"
The words from ${var[;width]} is need to be translated ? Or not ?
