dl10n spider output example (Packages/maintainers not caring about l10n?)
The below table is the output from the dl10n program maintained by the
debian-l10n project on Alioth.....
These are the status of not yet complete French translations of debconf
templates using gettext, package per package.
The dl10n spider uses pseudo-control messages posted on the
debian-l10n-french for getting information about the status of the
work on translation (a few other teams use similar methods, IIRC):
taf: "traduction a faire"=="work is to be done" but no-one
volunteered yet
itt: intent to translate
rfr: request for review
lcfc: last chance for comments
bts: bug reported, waiting for maintainer to fix
hold: do not care about this package (often D-I packages)
done: bug is closed and the package appears because of the gap
between bug closure and packages appearing in unstable
Besides the opportunity for doing some advertising about this tool
(which you can checkout from alioth CVS), I find the information about
translations sitting in the BTS for weeks (even months...and even more
than one year) very interesting for pointing packages which maintainer
obviously does not care about l10n....:-)

When there is some ---, that means that the material exists, but is not
translated to this language and that some issue (in pot file or DB) prevent to find the amount of string.
