Unfortunately my time devoted to Debian will drastically decrease due to
real life constraints, so I won't be able to provide reliable support.
Could you send your mail to debian-boot?
For technical details, Alastair McKinstry <mckinstry@debian.org> could
certainly help you, because Alastair maintains libnewt0.51 which is the
TUI used by d-i.
