l10n vs i18n (Whas Re: Automating of localizations)

some searching with apt-cache show that:
- - kde, koffice and opie (incorrectly) use -i18n suffixes
- - openoffice.org uses -l10n suffixes
this is inconsistent, thus confusing for users
- -> we should change the name of either the packages with *-i18n or the
packages with *-l10n. As l10n is the correct term for what these packages
provide [1] changing the name of *-i18n packages seemes (?that spelled
correctly?) best.
So what do you guys think? Should the *-i18n packages change their name?
Is there time to do this before the release of sarge?
