Strange behaviour of "ls" on `sid'
Hi all,
since a week or so ago something that I cannot explain interacts with
"ls" so that it uses an unusual format for the date part:
$ unset LANG
$ date
Sat Jul 6 17:21:39 CEST 2002
$ ls -ld .
drwxr-xr-x 123 lele lele 11264 Jul 6 09:47 .
$ export LANG=it_IT@euro
$ date
sab lug 6 17:22:10 CEST 2002
$ ls -ld .
drwxr-xr-x 123 lele lele 11264 07-06 09:47 .
the same happens with "it_IT", or "fr_FR"...
This does not occur if you are running `potato'.
Could somebody scatter some light?
thanx&bye,
lele.
