Thank you.  I have never noticed such a bad source code...
I wrote a patch for xterm-150-23, including your patch.
It fixes some bugs besides XMODIFIERS.

I forgot to fix it in my above patch...
Ok, I am preparing a new patch, which enables co-existance
of XIM input and Unicode keysym and so on.  I will fix this
point when I release the patch.
