Re: How to identify "running on a Hurd system"?
As far as I know, there is no system but GNU an HURD is one of it's kernels.

GNU/Hurd is *the* GNU system, no other system is supposed to make
uname -s return "GNU".
I believed that GNU was an operating system and Hurd a kernel.
Why isn't it?
