Debian 8 Hurd installation report: starting X fails on installed system

Machine: Virtualbox machine
Processor: 1 core
Memory: 512 MB
Partitions: /dev/hd0s1 for root, /dev/hd0s5 for swap

Comments/Problems:

Using the "pseudo-graphical" installer, the installation went completely fine!


But when starting up the newly installed Hurd, I only got a console.
lightdm didn't came up, although it was installed (I installed Xfce desktop 
task within the installation).
Looking at the logs, I found this in /var/log/lightdm/x-0.log:


	(EE) Fatal server error:
	(EE) Unrecognized option: vt7
	(EE) 
	...


So starting up X fails, due to unrecognized option.
